My name is Karina Rivera-Lanza, and I am a proud Puerto Rican artist. The company name “Inaru” is a term that the native Taíno tribe of Puerto Rico used to say “woman”. My company was created to showcase the beautiful culture of the Puerto Rican people through painting each purse by hand, in honor of my deep historical roots. By combining my two passions for Puerto Rico and art, I want to encourage my fellow Puerto Rican women to embrace their femininity in the form of cultural art and beauty.
